Someone's idea, suggestion, or course of reasoning is understandable, and one is willing to accept, consider, or acknowledge it. Your point is well taken, Carl, but the company simply cannot afford to hire new staff at this point. A: "All I'm saying is that you had major regrets the last time you made a big purchase like this without thinking it through." B: "Hmm, your point is well taken. Maybe I should take a day or two to think about it." Yeah, spicy food is probably a bad idea for me. Your point is well taken, honey.
