people processor
That which ushers people in and out in rapid succession, especially in a soulless or robotic manner, such as an office building, bureaucratic system, or some kind of automated service. The turnover in the company got so bad that some of the few longtime workers began referring to the place as the people processor. Their aim is to do away with wait staff and short order cooks, turning the restaurant into some kind of conveyor-belt people processor that functions on autopilot.
