1. noun, slang A celebration filled with great, raucous fun. A humorous misspelling and mispronunciation of "party" in which extra emphasis is usually placed on both syllables in speech. Boy, that was one heck of a partay last night!
2. verb, slang To engage in such a celebration. As with the noun form, extra emphasis is usually placed on both syllables in speech. OK, everyone, let's get ready to partay!
