not give (something) a second thought
To not give some situation or decision pause for any hesitation, concern, or further consideration. When an opportunity this good comes along, you don't give it a second thought—you take it before it slips away. When we were kids, we never gave a second thought to whether this food or that was good for us—we tried to eat what tasted good, and tried to avoid what tasted bad.
