A process that generates large amounts of money, especially that which is or seems unstoppable. Of course, for this system to ever really change, politicians would have to bring to a halt the money train they've been riding for the last three decades. The groundbreaking television show became a phenomenal success, a money train that just didn't seem able to slow down.
