mill

slang
1. verb, dated To beat or thrash (someone), especially with the fists. I walked out of the bar to see two drunkards milling each other in an alleyway across the road. A group of thugs milled the informant with pipes and clubs before he had a chance to testify.
2. noun, dated A fistfight. When I asked her how she got the black eye, she said that she had gotten into a mill with some hooligans on her way back from work.
3. noun A million (dollars, pounds, euros, etc.). The executive had been earning a commission of nearly five mill every time he sold a new property. A: "How much are the diamonds worth?" B: "Over 30 mill on the open market."

mod. alcohol intoxicated. (see also cut.) She was cut up with all that booze—milled, I guess.
