many times over

many times over

1. Repeatedly; often. You need to practice the dance many times over so that you have enough muscle memory to help you if you get stage fright during the recital.
2. Multiplied by several factors. The machine was a bit more expensive, but the increased yield in our production line was worth that cost many times over.
