A situation in which two or more people or groups make an elaborate display of mutual affection, esteem, or support for someone, something, or one another. It was an unusual political love fest in what is normally such a divisive environment, with senators from both parties lavishing praise and espousing respect for their colleagues. The conference is a wonderful love fest in which tons of different companies come together to celebrate the industry.
