(one's) line of country

One's preferred area of knowledge or expertise; a subject one is very skilled in, knows much about, or enjoys greatly. I worked in IT for a few years—it paid well, but it wasn't really my line of country. I won't comment, as speculating on political motivations is not my line of country. Ella can help you with your paper. She works in the Writing Center at school, and editing is her line of country.
