last meal
A meal given to a condemned prisoner on the day of or before their execution, traditionally consisting of whatever food they want. Sometimes used for humorous or hyperbolic effect in reference to anyone's last meal before death. The prisoner requested a lobster dinner for his last meal. Wow, that steak was absolutely incredible! I tell you, if that had been my last meal, I would die happy!
