indict for (something)
To accuse someone, often formally, of having committed a particular crime or misdeed. A noun or pronoun can be used between "indict" and "for." The grand jury to indicted the suspect for murder. If anyone finds out about this scheme, you'll be indicted for fraud! A: "If he's indicted for wire fraud, his career is over." B: "Well, his career was most likely over the moment he was accused."
