Disliked or out of favor; in trouble. I didn't want to be in bad on my first day, so I decided to laugh along with the boss's rather offensive joke. The defendant, who claims to be buried in debt after getting in bad with loan sharks years ago, has pleaded guilty of robbing the convenience store with an illegal firearm. I must be in bad with Jenny because she didn't invite me to her party on Saturday.
