hurry (someone or something) in(to some place)

To urge someone or something to move quickly into some place or thing. Come on, we've got to hurry the kids in before the assembly starts. Hurry the dog into the house before it finds some other animal to bark at. Hurry the actor into the theater from the back so no one notices.
