To attain or reach the point, area, or range in which something will be most effective or beneficial. Advertising is all about hitting the sweet spot where customers are informed and influenced without feeling like they're being manipulated. A: "What did you think of the tone? I didn't want it to be too technical, but I hope I didn't make it too informal instead." B: "Nope, I think you hit the sweet spot!" The tension is in my shoulders.
