To induce an emotional reaction in someone. Oh man, that video for the animal shelter hit me right in the feels. I want to adopt 10 puppies now! A: "Did you see that video my mom had of our kindergarten graduation?" B: "Yeah, it hit me right in the feels! We were so little!" After my cat passed away, just being around cats would hit me in the feels because I missed my baby so much.
