here's looking at you
A convivial toast to one's drinking companions. Sometimes used in the form "here's looking at you, kid," a reference to the famous line said by Humphrey Bogart in the 1942 film Casablanca. I'd like to propose a toast. To all my best friends, who came here tonight to see me off. Here's looking at you! Let's have one last drink before you have to catch your train. Here's looking at you, kid! Does everyone have a drink now? OK, then here's looking at you!
