1. To be duplicitous; to habitually present a different version of oneself at different times, especially in the presence of different people. Watch out with Terri—it seems like she has two faces. She always giving me a big hug when she sees me, but I heard that she's been insulting me behind my back lately. It's not that politicians have two faces that is so surprising, but the fact that so many people accept such phony façades as the truth. I think Kim has two faces because she does things that feel like sabotage, despite claiming to want my business to succeed!
2.To possess two different facets, features, aspects, etc. Can't an author have two faces? I don't want to only write children's books when I have such a passion for historical fiction. A: "I'm sorry, she's a star athlete and the valedictorian?" B: "Yeah, she really does have two faces." Anyone who doesn't have two faces bores me, to be honest. I like multi-dimensional people.
