To be primarily concerned with what would benefit one. I know you don't agree with some of the decisions I've made, but you have to trust that, as your mother, I have your best interests at heart. Despite what they claim, we know that the board doesn't have the students' best interests at heart—they're just looking to make money! I just think it's foolish to place such blind faith in elected officials without asking whether they have your best interests at heart.
