To have money that one is very eager to spend. I try to save, but once I have money burning a hole in my pocket, I just want to spend it! I know you have graduation money burning a hole in your pocket, but don't blow it on some extravagant thing you don't need. I have money burning a hole in my pocket, thanks to my Christmas bonus!
