To outshine someone in a particular skill or area. Oh, my brother has it over me in athletic ability—I can barely throw a baseball. A: "Face it, I have it all over you in chess." B: "Only because you cheat!" You're such a bright kid. If you would just study more, you'd have it all over your classmates at school.
