To have a refined, sophisticated ability to appreciate or make discerning judgments about artistic, aesthetic, or intellectual matters. Wow, I really like the way you've decorated your house. You obviously have good taste. People think I must not have good taste just because I read romance novels, but I've always dismissed such people as elitists. Have you met Sally's latest boyfriend? Another meatheaded buffoon. She just doesn't have good taste in men.
