To have or partake in something that improves a person's mood or level of energy. Everyone needs to have a little pick-me-up every now and again. For me, it's a trip to the nail salon. I was so drowsy on the way to work that I stopped by the coffee shop and had a pick-me-up. I need to have a pick-me-up, so this long weekend couldn't come at a better time!
