1. To have poor or illegible handwriting. Good luck reading Brad's handwriting—kid has a hand like a foot. I can't understand these notes at all, because you have a hand like a foot! A: "What the heck does this letter from Jon say?" B: "Who knows? He's always had a hand like a foot."
2. To have a poor or undesirable hand of cards. I decided to fold because I had a hand like a foot. Great, I have another hand like a foot. I'll never win my money back at this rate! Hey, someone else deal the cards this time—I've had a hand like a foot every time so far!
