To encounter problems during the initial part of a process. Likened to the discomfort experienced by babies when they are getting their first teeth (i.e. when they are "teething"). Our new product is having teething problems right now, but we're working to fix it. Every company has teething problems—this isn't a negative reflection on you as a business owner. Yes, we had teething problems with our supply line. Once we get the process streamlined, we'll be fine.
