In close association or collaboration (with someone or something). Our art and marketing departments always work hand and glove to make sure all the campaigns are consistently designed. It turns out that the doctor and the pharmaceutical company have been hand and glove for years, conspiring together to push expensive medications on patients regardless of their actual need. It's very clear that these senators are hand and glove with the major corporation who donate to their campaigns.
