gush (forth) out of (someone or something)

To rush or flow out of someone or something in an uncontrolled manner. We had to turn around because water was gushing forth out of the fire hydrant at the end of the street. I got so flustered when I saw him that the words that just started gushing out of me—I don't even know what I said! In the end, Dad wasn't seriously hurt, but, boy, does blood gush out of facial injuries! It's totally panic-inducing to see.
