1. A container, often a jug, used for transporting draft beer, particularly from a craft brewery. Our friends are coming over tomorrow night, so I'm going to stop and pick up a few growlers on my way home from work. A: "Here, I got you a growler of that beer you really liked at my party." B: "Sweet! Thanks, dude." Yeah, I can fill a growler for you. Which beer did you want?
2. A toilet. Can we stop soon? I could really use a growler. We're going to need a new growler sooner than later with the way this one clogs at the slightest bit of toilet paper. Now that we're potty-training Tyler, the growler is the most interesting thing in the world to him.
