green room

A backstage room in a theater that an actor can use while off stage. The name refers to the original paint color of such rooms. We need to wait in the green room until it's time for our scene. If you're looking for Miss May, I think she's in the green room. Don't worry, your guest is in the green room, and she'll be ready for her segment.
