green labor

green labor

Employees who are new to a particular company or industry and thus are not influenced by past work experiences or methods. We're always happy to find employees right out of university because we'd rather teach green labor than have to get employees set in their ways to unlearn things. I prefer to work with green labor myself—they do things exactly as I say because they don't know any other way of doing them! Don't worry, they like to have green labor. You'll go through a series of company-specific trainings as soon as you start.
