euphemism Very visibly pregnant. I'm only a few months pregnant, and I'm already great with child! I guess it's time to invest in some maternity clothes. I am so great with child right now, but at least the baby is due next week. A: "Have you seen Kristin lately?" B: "No, but I know her due date is coming up. She must be great with child by now."
