gray divorce

Divorce between older couples (i.e., those who have gray hair). The rates of gray divorce continue to increase throughout the country, with retirement acting as a catalyst for many couples to reevaluate the integrity of their marriages. I don't care if I'm 80 years old—I refuse to stay in a loveless marriage! If that means I become a statistic for gray divorce, so be it. I know gray divorce is on the rise, but I personally don't have any appetite to end a 45–year commitment.
