To articulate; to give voice to something. I had to finally give tongue to my frustrations with Meg always borrowing my car and returning it with no gas. If you don't give tongue to these feelings now, it's not like they'll go away—they'll just become resentments. A: "Why won't you give tongue to your true feelings for Vanessa?" B: "Because, what if she rejects me, huh? What do I do then?"
