To consider or ponder something, especially a proposition. I know you're loyal to your company, but I'm offering to hire you for double your current salary. At least give it a think, will you? A: "So, are you going to buy the car from her?" B: "I'm not sure. I'll have to give it a think." Honey, I know you want to go to this concert, but I'll have to give it a think. It is on a school night, after all.
