rude slang To care or be concerned about someone or something. Usually used in the negative to mean the opposite. My mom keeps telling me that this color is too bright for a bedroom, but I love it, and I don't give a shit about what she thinks. Who gives a shit about what they want? You need to do what makes you happy! I don't give a shit about who he dates. We're not together anymore, so he can do whatever he wants.

tv. to care about someone or something. (Usually objectionable. Often negative.) If you think I give a shit about you or anyone else, you’re full of shit. Do you think I give a fuck about what you do?
