old-fashioned slang An alcoholic drink, especially liquor or sparkling wine. A reference to the tendency of alcohol to cause giddiness or merriment in the drinker. He's not known for making rational decisions when he gets that giggle water into him. The revelers summoned the waiter to bring them another bottle of giggle water. Mother is about to tumble out of her chair! She's had more than enough giggle water tonight.
