get up off (of) (something)

To stand up or otherwise remove oneself after sitting or reclining on something. Come on, kids, get up off the couch—it's time to go. Now that I've taken attendance, you all can get up off the floor and start running laps. Ew, get up off that filthy floor!

to rise up and get off something. (Of is usually retained before pronouns.) Please get up off the sofa. I have to turn the cushions over. Get up off of it!
