get three squares (a day)

To eat three nutritionally complete meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) each day. A possessive adjective can be used between "get" and "three." Our hotel has an incredible restaurant, so you can always get your three squares whenever you stay with us. I know Sarah is excited to have her own apartment. I just hope she eats properly—I don't like the thought of her not getting three squares a day. Trying to make sure my toddler gets three squares each day feels nigh impossible sometimes.
