To dial the incorrect telephone number. A: "Hello, is this the Thompson residence?" B: "Sorry, you got the wrong number." A: "Hello, FlemCo Customer Support, Tracy speaking. How may I help you?" B: "Oops, I must have gotten the wrong number." There's no Maxwell Kent there? Well, I guess I've got the wrong number! Sorry about that.
