To suddenly have only small or limited amount of money available. I always seem to get pushed for money in the days leading up to payday. We should start cutting down on some of our expenses before we get pushed for money. A: "I don't know how I got pushed for money again." B: "I do—because you keep buying all of this unnecessary crap!"
