get out of debt

To pay off all of the debt one owes to another person, corporation, bank, etc. A reflexive pronoun can be used between "get" and "out." I can finally get out of debt once I make this last repayment on my car. I know that they've been struggling to get themselves out of debt for years. How am I ever going to get out of debt on this meager income?
