To stop involving oneself in an intrusive or nosy manner into something that is not one's business or responsibility. I wish my neighbors would get their noses out of our business and just leave us alone! Liam, get your nose out of your brother's business—he can manage well enough on his own. Yeah, right, like Mom will ever get her nose out of our business. We'll be middle-aged, and she'll still meddling in our lives!
