To receive no help from someone. Primarily heard in UK, Australia. John's the laziest guy in the office, so you'll definitely get no change out of him. A: "Why didn't you just ask Stu for help?" B: "Because we're vying for the same promotion!" A: "Oh right. Yeah, you'll get no change out of him." What is up with this crop of useless interns? I get no change out of them on a daily basis!

If you get no change out of someone or do not get any change out of someone, you get no help from them at all. We got no change out of them when we had problems. You won't get any change out of him, so don't expect it.
