get a 20 on (someone)

slang To know or determine someone's location. "20" comes from the CB radio phrase "10-20," referring to one's location. A: "Did anyone get a 20 on Danny?" B: "Yeah, he told me he's at Main and Auburn." Let me know when you get a 20 on them. A: "Hey, were you able to get a 20 on Stu?" B: "Yep, he just got off the highway at the Oaks exit."
