sports Said especially in tennis, but also in similar games such as squash, badminton, handball, etc.
1. A time in the game in which one player will win if they score the next point. A: "Wow, nice shot!" B: "Thanks. OK, game point!" This guy has historically struggled to score game point when he has the chance. I tried to stay loose on the court and not think about the fact that it was game point for the championship.
2. The winning point. Fedorov misses the ball with his racket. That's game point! Wait, I missed game point and the match is over? Dang! OK, you think Lisa will be able to score game point and finish Ian off?
