1. Curvaceous or voluptuous. In both usages, this phrase is typically used to describe women. She's a gorgeous, full-figured woman—she's just his type! Please, like that sexy, full-figured woman would ever talk to geeks like us. To be honest, I find a shy, studious girl to be more attractive than a busty, full-figured woman.
2. euphemism Fat or obese. Rachel used to be full-figured, but now she's slimmed down considerably—I almost didn't recognize her. Yes, full-figured models are welcome—I'm looking to have all body types represented in my runway show. A: "I don't think that silhouette is the most flattering one for a full-figured gal like yourself." B: "Gee, thanks Mom."
