from strength to strength

Increasingly successful or improved. I was nervous when I initially invested in that company, but it has gone from strength to strength, thank goodness. She's always been a bright student, but since she started college she has been growing from strength to strength. I just don't see this company going from strength to strength because it sells such a niche product.
