To not be one's area of expertise. Editing is just not my forte. I mean, who really cares where a comma goes? A: "I wish I were better at gardening, but it's really not my forte." B: "Yeah, I can see that, what with all these dead plants." Baking's not my forte—I never seem to measure every little thing precisely enough.
