slang A series or instance of angry messages posted online, or the content contained therein, especially those targeted toward someone, as on a message board. (A "flame" is such a message.) The administrators are going to suspend your account if you keep up the flamage on the message board. Yikes, what set those two off? There's a bunch of flamage on the forum this morning. I don't know why that user hates me all of a sudden, but I'm getting a ton of flamage from him.
