finger food

Food that is meant to be eaten with the hands (rather than with utensils such as forks), especially appetizers. I don't think we need to serve anything too substantial. Let's just put out a good spread of finger foods so people can choose how much they want to eat without having to sit down. Mom, you don't have to make anything elaborate for the kids.
