To put something, often paperwork, in a file that has a particular name or designation. File these papers under "miscellaneous" for now—we'll get to them later. Is that the offer sheet? Great, I'll file it under "new hire paperwork." Can you please take these folders and file them under "Inactive"? Thanks.
